FPL Template turns the public Fantasy Premier League data feed into squad templates, fixture-difficulty views, and comparison tools for FPL managers — a set of transparent, weighted models for "who should I be considering this gameweek", not a prediction engine and not a copy of anyone's private team.
Every template's weights, the squad-building rules, and the elite-manager sampling process are documented in full — with the actual numbers rendered straight from the scoring code — on the Methodology page.
All player, club, fixture, and gameweek data is sourced from the public Fantasy Premier League API. Nothing is scraped from private endpoints and nothing is fabricated — where upstream data isn't available (a blank pre-season, a failed request, a missing historical snapshot), the site says so explicitly instead of showing a stand-in number.
FPL Template is a fan-built project. It has no commercial relationship with, and is not endorsed, sponsored, or verified by, the Premier League, the Football Association, or any Premier League club. "Fantasy Premier League" and "FPL" are used descriptively to refer to the official game whose public data this site reads.
Open data, no login required — you don't need an FPL account or a private league ID to use any template, fixture, or comparison view on this site. Templates are built fresh from live data on every request; a database is optional and, when configured, is used only to persist historical snapshots (see Historical snapshots) — never to store personal account information.
